This here is the Qauntum escalade. I recently bought this reel at dicks sporting goods for $70. Wow what a good deal. This reel is super smooth, smooth drag, and a sleek look. Ive never had a quantum reel before, and this company is starting off on a high note in my book. Ive just been bass fishing with it and caught about 5. A few of the bass were at least five pounds and the reel held up terrifically. The price is a little high for my favor but it woks well.

You get what you pay for. Obviously you never tried a Shimano Stradic spinning reel. Check out the gear ratio, inches of line per turn, and most important, the drag.
