The Docs Goofy jig

Here is the Docs jig. Perhaps the most unusual jig I've ever fished with. Don't underestimate this lure because it is extremely effective. I find this a effective lure for just about any saltwater species. Ive caught countless Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Pompano, Snook, and even a monster 30 pound Jack Crevalle. Ive also fished for Bass with this lure and have caught many fish. This jig is simply a hook with a lead weight mounted to the shank of the hook. A little yellow paint and their you go. Also they sell these lures with the jig and a trailer hook with a pink feather. The lure has many variations of colors. I think these lures are only sold in Florida near the beaches. These lures look like little spoons. They are very easy to cast because they are heavy lures. The sizes very between little, medium, and large.
