Home Made Kayak/Canoe Anchor

One time me and one of my best friends went to Ft. Desoto to do some fishing on the flats. It was a windy day and our canoe was getting pushed around on the flat when we stopped paddling. We wanted to stay in one place on the flats so we decided to build a anchor. Here's how you can make one.

  1. Take a one gallon milk container And Fill it with Sand or dirt.
  2. Next get long durable end and tie one end on to the handle of the milk jug.
  3. Tie the other end to a part of your boat. Remember to make the roper a little longer than the depth you choose to fish.

Their you go here's a easy anchor that will take you literally 5 minutes. Good luck and catch the big one.
