The African Tiger Fish. This is the sweetest fish i have ever seen. They are located in Africa in the Congo river. All i know is i want to catch one. If anyone has any stories about catching one of these suckers please leave a comment of how you caught one.

ReplyDeleteHaving lived i Africa for over 25 yrs I spent quite a bit of time targeting Tigers on the fly. Had my best fishing on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe but also had some great fishing at Merchison falls in Uganda. They are extremely hard to hook up due to their bony mouths so the sharpest hooks on the market are needed.Gamakatsu big game saltwater hooks are whats needed. I agree that this fish is Rockin... :) They featured the Tiger Fish on a couple of different shows on the discovery channel and National Geographic recently. I think one was called "Hooked" but I am not sure.
