Summer Bass Bite

A month into summer and it is hot here in sunny Florida. As the sun warms the water the shallows start to get warm so the bass move from their beds to the center of the lake where its deeper. Also they seek spots where
there is maximum shade. So the best spots to look for bass when you are out fishing is deep water, Lily pads, stumps and logs, or thick vegetation. Also the bass start to get more active as far as eating habits. The warm weather will cause the bass to start feeding much more then when the climate is colder. So you will want to work your baits a bit faster. Jerking motions and quick pops will drive the bass crazy. But one of the main things is use flashier baits. shiny silvers and chartreuse colors are some of my favorites. So save these tips in your head so the next time your on the water you will own it up. Until next time good luck and catch a big one.
